The Power of Christ

Nobody likes the idea of feeling weak, being weak, or weakness in general. We want to be strong! We want to be self-sufficient! We want to be in control. When God tells us that His grace is sufficient, it usually means we are at a point where we must relinquish all control and completely trust Him; trust Him for our peace, trust Him for our answers, trust Him for the ability to endure, and for patience to bear up under every circumstance.

Boundaries Bring Freedom

Jill's Story: Everything in my life felt out of control. I worked at a frantic pace and got further and further behind. I felt marginal as a Christian, wife, mother, friend and educator. The more I was swallowed up by responsibility – the more I swallowed (pun intended) and the number on the scale continued to rise. Disappointed by the fifty pounds I had gained, I joined Grace and Strength solely to lose weight. Thankfully, God had a different plan.
