Grace and Strength made a runner out of me!

Lace them running shoes up just right…not too tight not too loose…check! Favorite running socks on….check! Groovy running pants and of course a weather tech running shirt...check! And all my son could say to me is, "Wow, so many things have changed about you mom"! He is so right! Grace and Strength saves Disney!

Last year, I started Grace & Strength, finished it and then became a coach! Since then, I've started running and have a pretty consistent exercise routine. I totally love my life but never saw how a trip to Disney World would put such a perspective on my "new" way of life. Move It, Move It! Find a Color Run.

Back in August I started my first G&S group, to say that I was excited to walk through this new journey with some of my friends was an understatement. I couldn't wait to see the transformation begin to happen in their lives. After a few weeks some of my girls started talking about running in the ever popular Color Run. Several of the girls were from Florida, so they decided to sign up for the race and run it together.

Got Fears?

As the newest lifestyle coach with Grace and Strength I wanted to take this moment to explain how this journey of weight loss and freedom began. February 4th 2012 was the day I said good-bye as I watched my husband get on a plane for Afghanistan. I had known fears prior to this date and had known them well but the depth of my fear and worry had taken on a form that I had never experienced before in my life.
